Novelties of the “Book Arsenal”
“Anthology of the youngest Ukrainian travel third party”
The publishing house “A-BA-BA-GA-LA-MA-GA” continues to work on the popular series “Anthology of World Poetry.” The peculiarity of this edition is its relevance: the collection included the poetry of 70 Ukrainian authors, whose career began already in the third millennium. Among them – Ekaterina Babkina, Miroslav Laiuk, Lyubov Yakimchuk. The senior poet in the book is 39 years old, the youngest is 17. The publishing house says that for today it is the most complete anthology of young Ukrainian poetry.
“Автобіографії Еліс B. Токлас”, Zherruda Stein
In Ukrainian, Gertrude Stein’s book – the American writer, intellectual, the author of the term “lost generation”, is published for the first time. Stein left a special mark in the history of world literature and art: her Paris apartment in the Floryus street in the early 20th century became a place for the collection of artistic bohemia – Picasso loved her, who was her closest friend, Modigliani, Matisse. Stein was friends with Hemingway, Fitzgerald and became the author of the term “lost generation”: she called this term American authors who had left for Europe. To the Book Arsenal O.K.Publishing publishes her “Autobiography of Alice B. Toklas” – not so much as the biography of Alisa Toklas, the writer and lover of Gertrude Stein, with whom she lived together for 40 years, as a portrait of the era. “Autobiography of Alice B. Toklas” is an experimental book: it was written by Stein on behalf of Alisa Toklas; in a witty, sarcastic manner Stein talks about friendship with artists and writers, relations with Alice and their creative search.
“The viscose. Uber, Airbnb that battle for Kremnіevu valley “
Non-fixture about the Silicon Valley and its heroes is a “hot” global trend. Following the book “Yakaboo Publishing” – about the worldview models of leaders of the Silicon Valley – in the publishing house “Our format” there is a book “Viscounts: Uber, Airbnb That Battle for the Silicon Valley”. This is a fascinating story about the success of Uber and Airbnb; the book was written by American journalist Brad Stone – special on the Silicon Valley, columnist of the editions of Bloomberg Technology and The New York Times. In his new book, the author focused on the history of Uber and Airbnb – the leaders of Silicon Valley, the creators of which were not just invented by successful start-ups, but in many ways changed the daily lives of millions of people around the world.
