Kate Moss in Massive Attack’s new video «Ritual Spirit»
Trip-hop band from Bristol, Massive Attack this year has released a mini-album «Ritual Spirit», the first since the days of «Heligolend» back in 2010. In support of the new album have already reached two clips. One for the song «Voodoo in My Blood», in which starred actress Rosamund Pike, the second for the song «Take It There» with John Hawkes.
Recently, the band released a new video «Ritual Spirit», in which starred legend of the fashion industry Kate Moss. Model is dancing in the dark with a light bulb in her hands, repeating her flowing movements. Kate Moss with the collected hair and in beige body, spins the light bulb, harmoniously fit into the atmosphere of the clip.
«Me and Kate have been friends for years, but had never collaborated, so last year we booked a studio with Medium and set up a shoot. During the session Kate was dancing in the dark, lighting herself with a naked bulb. She perfectly captured the essence of this track… intimate and ritualistic. We edited it back in Bristol to keep it raw with no re-touching, I didn’t want to lose the spirit of that moment», — said Robert Del Naja.
«I have always been a huge fan of Massive Attack and 3D has been a friend for many years. When he asked me to collaborate with him I didn’t have to think twice. I always thought their visuals were amazing and I was proud to be in this video», — commented Kate Moss.
