Valery Kovalska Spring/Summer 2016
Mercedes-Benz Kiev Fashion Days opened the fashion show Valery Kovalska Spring/Summer. The show was opened by Alina Baykova known for collaboration with Carolina Herrera, Marc Jacobs, John Galliano, Nicole Miller, Gianfranco Ferre, Lanvin and Christian Dior.
A new collection was inspired by Buddhist monks — large long skirts, capes and jackets as if from a distant ashram, lost in the mountains. But as Valery Kovalska did’nt depart from his style — urban chic presents in each collection and this was no exception. Jackets straight cut, office shirt and classic trousers made in neutral colors confirm the main inspiration of the designer — a powerful modern woman who never blends in to the crowd.
