On the 8th of March, at Women’s Day, to congratulate women with this holiday decided Karl Lagerfeld with his collection for Chanel, and also Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli with a collection for Valentino.
During the show Chanel, guests plunged into the past: the presentation took place in the famous building Grand Palais that is similar to spaces, in which were held fashion shows in the middle of last century.
The collection is quite feminine, with light hints of romance. It includes: tweed costumes – jackets and skirts, knitted sweaters, cardigans and various dresses from lace, hats from the 60s, pendants made of pearls, long coats, warm jackets and wide pants.
What pleased, so it’s bright shades – in the collection are dominated red, blue, pink, burgundy and yellow, and from materials are a lot of denim, leather inserts and silk.
The autumn-winter collection of fashion house Valentino is completely devoted to ballet, and its main purpose – give to girls the opportunity to feel themselves like graceful ballerinas.
The new line includes a huge number of ballet tutus made of tulle and chiffon in soft shades, turtlenecks, bodies, long sweaters and cardigans, dresses, decorated with crystals and lace, leggings and even voluminous coats.
The brand’s designers managed to demonstrate how and with what you can wear a dress with thin spaghetti straps – you just need to combine it with turtleneck with long sleeves.
