Paris Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2016
The natural beauty of the Urals and Siberia, as well as the heroes of folk tales became the main inspiration for Valentin Yudashkin in the new collection. Black, emerald green, terracotta, beige were the main colors in the coming season. Outerwear from feather and classic cashmere coat to over-size models were decorated with fur, lace and embroidery. Costumes, reminiscent of silk pajamas, dresses and pantsuits combination of shiny fabric created the basis in the collection. Evening dresses were richly decorated with embroidery, sequins and fringe.
According to the designer, the collection reflects the idea of stillnes in the busy world. It was displayed in pastel colors, which included shades of beige, white and blue, sometimes diluted black, free cut silhouettes, soft fabrics and over-size. Wide trousers with long shirt, falling down from the shoulders coats and a huge contrast to the tight-fitting sweater and turtleneck close-fitting dresses.
Bill Gaytten in the new collection for John Galliano decided to combine femininity and masculinity. On the podium, it was possible to see the combination of underwear trend with uniforms. Lace, silk, embroidery and floral print for a couple with jackets, coats and militarized male caps. Inspired by the era of the 30s the designer presented the relevant era dresses and accessories in the form of wathcess on a chain.
