New York Fashion Week: show spring-summer collection of Givenchy
The show of the French fashion house Givenchy has surprised the audience: instead of the traditional Paris it was held in New York. The place was chosen “Pier 26” in the Hudson River Park – therefrom is perfectly visible “Freedom Tower.” The creators as a material for decorations have chosen recycled materials and fragments, and from music they chose compositions from 6 from different countries with different religions, which symbolize the need for people from all over the world to repel any type of discrimination.
Spring-summer collection reminded past haute couture shows of the brand. The designer presented a satin and lace pajama cut costumes, camisole in pastel shades, long capes and dresses combinations, lots of lace and transparent dresses, complemented with rhinestones. The faces of the models were graced by gold mask, which made a performance a little mysterious. Finish the fashion show Puerto Rican top model Joan Smalls, who demonstrated a black velvet evening dress decorated with asymmetrical skirt of feathers.
