New York Fashion Week, Fall/Winter 2016. Catwalk shows
Design duo Alexa Adams and Flora Hill presented the gorgeous autumn-winter collection. For its description only three phrases are enough: Victorian forms, multilayer fashion designs and improved quality. The collection includes knitted tops with ruffles and skirts in the same style, high waist trousers, long dresses, black-and-white coats, multicolored fur waistcoats.
Also they are first used a new method of printing a 3-D graphics that adorned some outfits. By the way, new materials and technology have appeared thanks to Shapeways and Microsoft.
Designer Angel Sanchez is renowned for luxurious evening dresses. “I’m obsessed with the mystery of the night,” – he said backstage. “Dressing for the night is when I feel most like myself.” Inspired by the film “That Obscure Object of Desire” by Spanish director Luis Buñuel, Sanchez suffered his passion for the autumn-winter collection, which turned out very seductive. His cocktail and evening dresses were sexy and dramatic, with transparent seams, simulated cleavage and lots of lace. From colors were dominated black, gold and purple.
Design duo and concurrently the creators of the brand Rag & Bone, David Neville and Marcus Wainwright presented their autumn-winter collection in New York, when the Grammy ceremony was held Los Angeles. Therefore, their main objective was to attract attention, and they coped with it. The show was a real pleasure for the audience: in the new collection designers have combined classical motifs with military accents. Models demonstrated parkas with fur, knitted suits from the 90s, a large number of various jeans, which looked great at the catwalk.
