New collections: Yohji Yamamoto, Nina Ricci
Japanese brand Yohji Yamamoto presented a collection of the spring-summer season 2018 as part of Fashion Week in Paris. Yohji Yamamoto once again showed his affection for the unusual cut and forms. In the new collection, almost all things are twisted around the body, with incorrectly buttoned buttons, with puffs, folds and torn sleeves. In this way, the designer departs from rigor and emphasizes the rebelliousness of fashion.
“Every customer can play with a silhouette, it’s his natural transformation” – so Yohji Yamamoto explained the use of techniques applicable in the fashion show.
In its collection, the brand Yohji Yamamoto used cotton. All images are made in black monochrome color.
The creative director Nina Ricci, designer Guillaume Henri showed his vision of an urban girl. In this image, a romantic person and an image of careerist in the metropolis have united. Spring-summer collection 2018 from Nina Ricci was based on loose-fitting trousers, silk shirts, tunics. And also lace bodies and flying dresses. The light color scheme emphasizes the femininity of Nina Ricci’s clothes and the tenderness of the looks. The reverse side of the image, the fighting feminine spirit, is emphasized by the strict silhouettes and the image of the warrior.
“In addition, there is a hyperbolization of the look: the designer decorates base jerseys with a bountiful amount of fringe, delicate diadems supply a pen, and the belts – the first letters of the brand name, making them look like the emblem of the generic name,” – says representatives of the brand Nina Ricci.
