New collection from 2KOLYORY
The new collection of the brand 2KOLYORY is dedicated to floral ornaments on the background of geometric lines.
According to creative director Oksana Kovalenko, the new collection is an analogue of femininity in the modern urban world. Autumn collection from 2KOLYORY is called “Tsarina”. It includes feminine dresses, cardigans, tight blouses and classic trench coats. The main accent in the new collection is embroidered large flowers based on ancient embroidery. The collection is made of natural materials and is sustained in restrained tones, mostly straight cut and with laconic lines.
“We found our inspiration in the form of a nymph from “Forest Song” by Lesya Ukrainka. We wanted to emphasize the femininity of our Ukrainians and that they, a bit wild and magical, live in the modern urban world. Some kind of rebirth of a wild nymph into a real beauty. Sphere is a field where flowers grow: untouched, curative, picturesque and rare. So, woman in this crazy world is a wild flower with a unique beauty and a rare soul, ” – says creative director Oksana Kovalenko.
The brand’s history began in 2015 when the Igor and Oksana Kovalenko founded their own production and gave it a special name. Brand 2KOLYORY is a combination of two elements, the beginning and the end, the female and the male, the past and the future, black and red – the eternal opposition of opposites.
