Tokyo Fashion Week: Short Review (Part 2)
We continue to review interesting spring-summer collections, which were presented at Fashion Week in Tokyo.
Hiroko Koshino: founder of the brand Hiroko Koshino presented outrageous and colorful collection. It includes: multi-layered dresses, skirts and dresses different lengths, short and elongated jackets, coats, capes. From accessories designer gave preference to bags unusual shape and colorful tights. A lot of dresses were decorated with floral prints. The highlights of the collection were masks that adorned the faces of each model and red lips.
Higa: a completely new brand that started its activities in August 2015. Designer ISSEI HIGA presented the collection in a minimalist style: from colors prevail black, white and burgundy and the base of the line – straight cut dresses, simple skirts, cropped classic pants, stylish tops, jackets.
Tenbo: People brand Tenbo was founded in 2014. It directed to all people of the world. And fashion designer Takafumi Tsuruta proved it: for participation in the show he invited models with disabilities. He thus showed that he takes care about making beautiful clothes to all people. The collection includes kimono, denim dresses, dresses decorated with cartoon characters, suits with suspenders, hats, dresses in rainbow colors. In some models of clothes are sewn buttons on magnets for people with disabilities: it helps them to put on and take off their belongings. A feature of the show became skull-jewelries «Yomi-chan» – the brand logo that adorned the necks of models.
