Milan Fashion Week: Prada, Emilio Pucci
After Men’s Fashion Week, the creative director Miuccia Prada decided to continue the theme of superheroes in the women’s clothing line. Then, in July, the location for the men’s fashion show was a fictitious film studio, where a fashion show reminded a filming a movie. The other day, as part of Milan Fashion Week, Prada Fashion House presented the women’s spring-summer line 2018.
Most of the looks from the new collection resemble male bows. Overalls, hoodies, masculine trenches. About femininity reminded only baby doll dresses, shorts with ruches and tops with sequins. Eight artists worked on the development of the new collection. Among them were Joel Jones, Julian Maldini, Leon, Natsum Ono, Trina Robbins, Brigid Elva, Fina Staples and Stellar Emma Rios. Artists worked with the archives of creativity of June Tharpe Mil – a woman, who created a Wonder Woman from popular comics.
The new spring-summer collection 2018 surprised with an unusual combination of textures. Clay, velvet, denim, cage, floral print, leopard and tiger stripes.
Fashion house Emilio Pucci decided not to invent something extraordinary. The sun, the pool, cocktails and tropics are the best that await us in the new spring-summer season 2018. Thus, Emilio Pucci decides to remind about the summer mood with relaxed outfits with shiny elements, flounces resembling sea foam and graphic prints in the form of tropical flowers.
Lightweight fabrics look great with massive accessories – large earrings and a necklace. The collection from Emilio Pucci at Fashion Week in Milan was presented in coral, blue, white and yellow shades.
