Lookbook Yasya Minochkina, spring-summer 2016
Ukrainian designer Yasya Minochkina presented lookbook of her new spring-summer collection. The idea – a return to the 70s and a source of inspiration became the book Fashion in the ’70s: The Definitive Sourcebook, which the designer found in Paris. In this book well-known fashion historian Emmanuel Dirie wrote interesting things not only about podium fashion, but also touched the topic of street style that is very similar to Yasya. Mostly the collection consists of dresses, which are presented in different variations – a midi with V-neck, made of mesh, light and romantic with frills. The designer offers to combine them with coats in bright shades. Also were showcased overalls made of the grid, flares pants, “doll” jackets. Addition to the line became massive collars, lapels and cuffs that perfectly capture the mood of the era.
