Lookbook of Fall-Winter Bevza collection
Designer Svetlana Bevza is representative of millenial generation that can‘t be said for her latest collection, embodies the aesthetics of the Soviet Union.
«Our generation has always fled from the entire Soviet Union, we were looking for inspiration and meaning in Western values and foreign cultural heritage. After several decades of research and brass anarchy people are returning to their roots».
The inspiration for creation new collection, called «Heritage», served as the underground streets of Berlin, floral prints, enlarged shoulder line of the ’80s and peeling wall of Soviet buildings. «Sublimation origins past gives birth to the concept of the” new femininity — and fragile at the same time masculine. The protest against the war generation zero finds a way out of its energy in the underground culture in the spirit of Berlin. Peeling porches and garages (photoprint), retro bodices, corsets, roses abundance – all these details collection «Heritage» indicate that the person in the conditions of social pressure seeking spiritual and aesthetic output, referring to its past generations», — said designer.
Shooting for Bevza fall/winter lookbook took place in one of Kyiv’s shopping centers.

Looks of fall/winter collection was restrained and concise. The main colors are gray, black and brown. Knitted dresses, pantsuits, tops and coats muskulinnye made the main focus of the new collection. «This collection — a psychological study, retold in clothes. That’s why I used such meager color, so retromotivy connected the modern, so did print out pictures peeling walls. Our present — it is a miserable thing. This time a woman has to be strong. This time a woman has to be strong, and its power is manifested in the collection, for example, in the line of the shoulders. At the same time we seek to preserve their femininity – and here, for example, corsets. There comprehended every detail», — shared the designer Svetlana Bevza.
Also, designer Svetlana Bevza paid particular attention to details: «My favorite part of the collection — it’s the details. I think the main emphasis — a line bustier, shoulders, small buttons. I like elegant things, such as ink dress with 80 buttons behind and then loosened all. It is very simple and cool. And my favorite thing — it’s shoes satin jacquard», — shared designer.
