London Fashion Week: Burberry, Ports
The creative Director of Burberry Christopher Bailey introduced a new collection, which became a portrait of the British style. It was not without exalted eccentricity, aristocracy and style of the streets of London.
“This collection was a little more honest, I would even say that it is less polished,” – said Christopher Bailey.
It was not without unification of the new and old world. Classic sweaters and pullovers were combined with baseball caps and hoodies with hoods. Christopher Bailey also presented his men’s collection as a part of Fashion Week. It is worth noting that to shoot an advertising campaign for the new collection, Christopher Bailey invited Russian designer Gosha Rubchinsky.
The fashion show was held under the program see now – buy now. In the first row, Anna Wintour, Naomi Campbell, Cara Delevingne were seen.
Natasha Kagal, the head of the Ports, shared before the fashion show the secret of her latest developments. In the last seconds before the show, the designer corrected the skirts of the models.
“You see, we have developed a fabric with metal, so you can manipulate your form as you like!” – explained Natasha Kagal.
The new fabric can be modeled on its own, it will take any shape and transform any wardrobe item into a transformer. Creating a collection, Natasha Kagal represented a woman traveling in Europe. The designer described the heroine of her new collection as follows:
“She is traveling, perhaps from London to Istanbul on the Orient Express. She will spend the summer not at home. “
In the collection you could see British sweaters for playing cricket, floral embroidery, trouser suits and skirts of medium length.
