Kate Moss’ Capsule Collection for the brand Equipment
Supermodel Kate Moss is not only starred in the next advertising campaign of the French brand Equipment, but also created a capsule collection.
«I like that girl/boy thing. I’m a tomboy, really; I was always stealing Jamie’s [Hince] Equipment shirts. They’re just easy to wear, to pull on as a cover-up or whatever. The fabric just sits on your skin so nicely. Ilike having a part in designing something. Clothes are my thing. I like to talk about them, touch the fabric, see what feels right. Therefore, the collaboration with the brand has become easy for me in the incarnation», — said Kate Moss about her collaboration with the Equipment.
Perfectly tailored shirt, stars, lightning and anchors in the form of prints as a tribute to David Bowie, grungy dress-combinations that Kate Moss wore in the ’90s and flared pants became the basis of the looks created by the supermodel for Equipment.
Black and white ad campaign was lensed by top model Daria Werbowy in Kate Moss’ mansion in the Cotswolds. Suzy Cave, wife of the cult musician Nick Cave, and Ella Richards, granddaughter of Rolling Stones legend Keith Richards also starred in ad campaign with supermodel.
The capsule collection will go on sale June 2 in boutiques and on the official Equipment website, as well as at Net-A-Porter.
