Carine Roitfeld Launches CR Men’s Book
On September 10 Carine Roitfeld will launch her first ever men’s fashion magazine poly-bagged with the seventh issue of CR Fashion Book.
The 60-year-old Parisian admitted that (although she is no stranger to it) men’s style did not come as easy to her as working with women’s, and that she turned to her favourite male icons (old and new) for the debut magazine. Enter River Phoenix, Robert Mapplethorpe, Jaden Smith and Christopher Walken.
The new title called – CR Men’s Book – is spread over 112 pages with 40 pages of confirmed advertising from such brands as Louis Vuitton, Prada and Tom Ford. After the debut release on September 10 CR Men’s Book will be published annually by Stephan Gan’s Fashion Media Group LLC, will be sold with CR Fashion Book at a cover price of $20 and a print run of 65,000.
