Italian house Fendi launches a book on the 90th anniversary of the brand
The history of the famous Italian fashion house has already been 90 years. The path from the fur studio to the one of the biggest brands will describe the book «Fendi Rome» by Assouline publishing house.
«Fendi Rome» will consist of 272 pages, it will include about 300 illustrations, sketches and rare photos of the brand’s founders. To tell the story of the fashion house, the book is divided into 5 parts: «Rome: the eternal inspirations» tells you about the communication of the brand and its homeland, «Creativity: experimentation and innovation» focuses on innovative Fendi‘s spirit, «Femininity: a fashionable force» will talk about the basic concept fashion house, «Family business» will tell the story of the founding family, and the last part «Yesterday, today and tomorrow» will analyze the evolution of the brand.
«We thought that the 90th anniversary would have been the right occasion to tell more about our company and give a clear vision of what luxury means for us. What we think clearly emerges is that there is a fil rouge running trough our history — Fendi has always been rooted in an idea of pure, sometimes exaggerated luxury, but always filtered through a playful, irreverent lens», — said executive director Pietro Beccari.
