88-year-old Tippi Hedren – the face of the Gucci jewelry collection
Not long ago, the creative director of the Gucci Fashion House, Alessandro Michele, invited Dakota Johnson, famous for the role of Anastacia Steel in the trilogy “Fifty shades of gray”, to become the face of the new Gucci Bloom fragrance. And the other day Alessandro Michele offered to cooperate with the actress’s grandmother – Tippi Herden.
Tippi Hedren gained world fame thanks to roles in the films “Birds” (1963) and “Marni” (1964) by Alfred Hitchcock. Alfred Hitchcock considered Tippi Hedren’s candidacy in other of his films, but she refused further cooperation with the director. This led to the fact that in subsequent years Tippi Herden almost stopped filming. Alfred Hitchcock was angry with her, and his position in the cinema of those years was quite high, and many directors listened to his opinion. One of the few famous films of the 1960s with her participation was Charlie Chaplin’s painting “Countess from Hong Kong” (1967), where she performed the role of Martha.
Creative director Alessandro Michele introduced Tippi Hedren as a mysterious fortuneteller who receives visitors in his salon. The shooting also involved photographer Colin Dodgson and art director Christopher Simmons.
