Pat McGrath created a collection in honor of Met Gala
Today, May 7, at the Metropolitan Museum, the traditional Met Gala party will take place, after which the exhibition “Divine bodies: Fashion and Catholicism” will start. In the theme of the exhibition, make-up artist Pat McGrath, in conjunction with the Metropolitan Museum, created a special make-up collection and, in fact, the McGrath brand will be the first beauty brand to be sold in the museum.
The mini-collection has received a new packaging, and in the pallet of the shadows Mothership IV: Decadence Eyeshadow Palette appeared new shades: blue and gold, silver and brown. It included pearlescent lip gloss Aliengelic from a new series of Lust shines that will appear entirely on Pat’s site on May 10, a laced version of the Mothership IV: Decadence shawl with ten shades, as well as T-shirts and lingslips with prints.
The launch of the collection is timed to the annual ball of the Met Gala Costume Institute. Buy it can be in the Metropolitan Museum from May 8, the day after Met Gala. The cost of T-shirt Pat McGrath Labs x The Met is $ 62, longish – $ 82, lip gloss – $ 28, and shadows of palettes – $ 125. On the packaging of each product, you can see the images of the exhibits from the upcoming exhibition “Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination”, which opens in the museum on May 10.
