After the speech, Cher wrote in her Twitter account: “I turned 71 and I can stand for 5 minutes in a plank … Just so you know.”
Recently, in one of her interviews, Cher talked about the secrets of beauty and eternal youth.
Cher avoides foods high in fat, and even sweets and fast food. Also for many years, Cher is a vegetarian.
“I do not like meat and therefore do not eat it,” – the singer clarifies. – I try to avoid foods that are high in fat, because they make me sluggish and it is difficult to control weight. And I do not like dairy products and I think that cheese is the worst enemy of the figure, since most cheeses contain too much fat and cholesterol. In general, I prefer to eat what gives me energy, and nothing more. For example, I like brown rice, beans – lentils, beans. And I also love pasta and various fruits, especially bananas, papayas and nectarines. “
Also, Cher does not smoke or drink.
“The goal of keeping myself in shape and being healthy has always been a part of my life,” – Cher says. – Harms like drugs and alcohol – not mine at all. I’ve always been against them. But cigarettes … I smoked for a while, but then I realized that this is very harmful for my health! “
Cher is a big fan of cosmetic procedures, noting that she does not stop at one remedy or procedure.
Despite the tight schedule, the singer always finds time for sports.
“In my youth I was very active and mobile. And, as long as I can remember, I always went in for sports. At various times I was engaged in tennis, walking and often visited the gym. But most of all I liked to surf. I started about 20 years ago, and it’s a pity that it did not happen before, – the singer admits. – Now I go to the gym five times a week.
